List Your Home BEFORE Buying!

A lot of sellers are afraid that if they put their house on the market and get an offer, then they will have nowhere to go. If this is you, we are here to tell you that the problem with this mentality is that it puts you in a position that you now have to rush the process!  Nobody wants to rush, especially when it comes to moving. It adds an unnecessary {and avoidable} headache to the situation.

If you want to be able to have options, the advice we give is actually a little bit counter-intuitive. You need to be willing to take a leap of faith and get your home listed BEFORE you find a new property.

We have been doing this for about 10 years now and have never had a buyer that hasn’t been able to secure a home that they love and are really happy about.

For whatever reason, it always works out the way that it’s supposed to. Unless you are in a position to be able to hold two mortgages simultaneously, you need to go through the process of getting your home ready and on the market so that you can get the most money. That way, you know what you’re going to net for your sale to be able to make the best decision on a new purchase.

The thing that we hate to see is a seller who has been dragging their feet, then the perfect house comes on the market and they can’t act on it because their home isn’t ready to go on the market.

If you think this year is the time to move, you need to take the steps to get your house ready, get it on the market and receive an offer so you can actually make the right decision and know what your options are.
